Garden by Design Inc. offers a complete landscape design and build service. It is our belief that design and implementation should go hand in hand. The designer plays an essential role at each stage in the project from the initial meeting, to design development, to management of the implementation. Nothing is left to chance.

Design

Each project begins with a design process. Following the initial meeting with the designer a proposal is drafted that outlines the scope of the design. Plans range from masterplans for an entire property to designs for specific areas.

The initial stage in the design phase involves a detailed study of the present conditions of the site. Your property is measured, photographed and assessments made of the light, soil, and drainage conditions. A base map of the existing conditions is established that serves as the foundation on which any proposed design ideas are structured.

Meetings are scheduled with you during the design development to review the proposed ideas, discuss budget considerations and identify any areas where adjustments need to be made.

Implementation

With the final plan established we are able to put together a detailed proposal for implementation. Proposed designs may be implemented either in their entirety or, in the case of more comprehensive masterplans, they may be completed in stages.

Garden by Design manages all aspects of the implementation. We coordinate the completion of each element of the project from site preparation to construction and planting. Mark works closely with trusted and skilled contractors to achieve the best results. Each job is managed throughout the process to insure a successful translation of the design from paper to reality and to guarantee top quality work and attention to detail.
